Barça Set to Play Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure for construction to commence.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Barcelona held an open training session inside the stadium in early November. The club said they are seeking authorization from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
